Description

A superb 18th cent semi-detached character house with 14 acres of land in the ancient village of Stratton, next to Bude, North Cornwall. Bude beaches are just 2 miles. Originally a farmhouse, hence its name 'Pollards Farm', many character features are retained such as an impressive staircase and a front door believed to date from the 18th century. The house boasts a perfectly enclosed rear lawn, with 14 acres of fields for children to play in (farm animals in fields). Stratton village is known as one of the prettiest cornish villages, its stone cottages centred around the village square and ancient church. Numerous footpaths lead from the village, with pretty walks. The village boasts 3 pubs, the well known Old Tree Inn having a courtyard, bars, restaurant and a full size painting of Tony Payne the 17th century cornish giant. The village featured large in the english civil war between the rounheads and cavaliers with a major battle fought on its outskirts. Drive up the hill out of the village, down the other side and you will arrive in Bude.

Bedroom 1 (downstairs) has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed & cot. Bedroom 3 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds & 1 single put-u-up bed. Maximum of 8 people please. Dining room. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower. Lounge with colour T.V. & video. Glass sun-lounge. Kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer & washing machine. Microwave. Washing machine.

Parking at bottom of driveway for 3 cars. No pets.
